| About Helgeson Business Planning Helgeson Business Planning provides market research, competitive intelligence, business plan writing, and financial services to its clients, ranging from small businesses and entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. The services are available globally and clients are served both face-to-face and remotely. HBP's principal, Leif Helgeson, draws upon relevant industry experience and formal training to best serve HBP's clients. Leif has assisted over 40 small businesses both in the United States and internationally in their quest for profitability. As both an employee of the U.S. government and the United Nations abroad, Leif provided training and consultation to small business owners in areas such as marketing, bookkeeping and business plan writing. All of these businesses succeeded in obtaining seed money from the World Bank and successfully launched their ventures. Prior to and following graduation from business school in the United States, Leif worked both independently and within corporations to serve clients in areas such as understanding the external competitive environments and business plan writing, and mastered the important aspects of requesting, writing and reviewing sales proposals. Leif received a Master of International Management degree with a concentration in Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. |
